Honeywell Aerospace announced plans Oct. 28 for a $500 million manufacturing facility in Tempe, Arizona, that would add internal complex machining capability.[3] The 300,000-square-foot plant is expected to open in late 2028.[3]

The investment targets an area of the supply base the company identifies as constrained.[3] Honeywell Aerospace says a small number of mechanical suppliers are limiting output growth, while trailing twelve-month orders rose 9%, led by Defense and Space.[1]

The board declared its first quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share.[2] It is payable Dec. 4, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business Nov. 13, 2026.[2]

## Why it matters

The company expects the expansion to add capacity for priority production of defense technologies covered by its March supplier framework agreement with the Department of War.[3]
