Exiger has been awarded a $12 million Air Force contract for supply chain illumination and defense industrial base analysis supporting intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).[1] The company announced the award Nov. 4, 2026, to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center’s ICBM Systems Directorate.[1]

Exiger says its platform is built to identify risks at the part, supplier, material and sub-tier dependency level.[1] The company says its approach will help the directorate identify parts at risk of obsolescence and dependencies on a single source of supply.[1]

The platform will also provide predictive analytics to support part obsolescence forecasting, vendor behavior tracking and risk mitigation planning, according to Exiger.[1]

## Why it matters

The intended reach extends past parts to the suppliers themselves: Exiger says its approach will help the directorate identify vendor viability concerns, workforce gaps and supplier readiness issues.[1]
