Terms of use

The current service is a limited test of Whitespace’s workspace and public-source research.

Access and permitted material

Access is limited to invited testers. Keep your account credentials private and use your own account. Use public information, except where your testing account has private uploads enabled. Upload only your own company material that you are authorized to share, including proprietary material. Do not enter classified, CUI, FOUO, export-controlled or source-selection information. Do not attempt to access another person’s workspace or bypass service restrictions.

What Whitespace provides during testing

Whitespace currently supports saved public company research and personal workspaces. New public-source research is restricted to designated testing accounts, using local or hosted execution. Creating an account alone does not grant research access. Private uploads and document review are available to allow-listed testing accounts using mock material. Customer uploads remain disabled. Research may send company inputs and capability descriptions to research providers and retain public-source evidence and reusable results, as described in the privacy policy. Features and availability may change during testing. There is no payment or billing commitment during private testing.

Private uploads

Private uploads are limited to allow-listed testing accounts using mock material; customer uploads remain disabled. You must be authorized to share what you upload. PDF and Word (DOCX) files are limited to ten files per company project, 8 MB each; pasted notes are limited to 50,000 characters. Your own proprietary company material is permitted. Scanned PDFs, classified, CUI, FOUO and export-controlled material are refused.

You retain ownership. You authorize account-scoped processing to extract text, propose capability changes and use passages you accept in searches you request. Review conflicts and supporting passages before accepting them. Company-provided evidence is not independent verification. Files and private evidence are never added to public research or newsroom work and are not used for model training. The private processor and its confirmed terms must replace the placeholder in the privacy policy before customer uploads are enabled.

Deleting or replacing a file stops its evidence being used in future searches. Earlier results and quoted passages stay unless you remove them separately. File deletion removes originals and extracted text immediately, with Cloudflare recovery copies removed within 30 days, subject to the recovery verification described in the privacy policy.

Research limits

Each account can run up to five research requests at once and start up to 25 a day. These limits protect the service during testing.

Evidence and decisions

Research may be incomplete or out of date. A suggested connection does not establish funding, eligibility, an open procurement or a likelihood of award. Review original sources and current requirements before acting. You remain responsible for your business decisions.

Your work and account

You retain ownership of the material you save. We process it to provide and protect your workspace, as described in the privacy policy. You may stop using Whitespace and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access for misuse or end private testing.
