Appian says TACTMIS replaced disconnected emails, spreadsheets and fragmented legacy workflows with a cloud-based enterprise platform. The system serves as the Army’s authoritative source for managing munitions requirements, authorizations, forecasting and expenditure reporting.1
The company describes TACTMIS as serving more than 10,000 global users and supporting Army-wide readiness reporting, planning, programming, budgeting and execution processes. TACTMIS is built on Appian Defense Cloud with an Impact Level 5 designation.1
Appian says the system increases visibility of munitions demand and usage across the Active Army, Army National Guard, Army Reserve and joint partners. Appian says planned future enhancements include a classified capability increment designed to support near-real-time combat munitions requirements and expenditure reporting.1
